Dear future first time moms with low income, expecting teens as well. I hope this information might be very helpful for you.
Have you ever heard about Nurse -Family partnership program?
Nurse-Family Partnership is a free, voluntary program that partners first-time moms with nurses. Each mother served by NFP is partnered with a registered nurse early in her pregnancy and receives ongoing nurse home visits that continue through her child’s second birthday.
If you have questions, your nurse will help answer them. The nurse who helped you prepare for all the stages of your pregnancy and delivery is still there for you – through breastfeeding, bathing your baby, and changing diapers. She’ll talk with you about talking to your little one – and about planning goals so that your family has a good future. Your nurse will be there for you during pregnancy and after your delivery – and she’ll be there to help you find your heart’s desire as you create the best possible life for your baby and yourself.
To receive pregnancy help from the Nurse-Family Partnership program, you must:
- Be pregnant with your first child
- Meet income requirements
- Live within an area serviced by a Nurse-Family Partnership Implementing Agency (most of the states)
I think it`s pretty awesome to have a person, who can help you out, who is so knowledgeable about the babies and women health. Moms need a support and tips.
